Title
I programmed the robot to unload 10 parallel parts from a conveyor belt. The robot picked up the parts and placed them in a grid box, or pushed the parts together in the box beforehand. The parts had to be deposited with high precision. In addition, a heartbeat signal had to be used to communicate with the producing machine/PLC. The robot switched a lamp analog as soon as it had completely filled a box. When the crate was removed and replaced with an empty crate, the robot switched off the lamp.
Pro
The robot was very easy to program. I had almost no experience with cobots before and getting started with the tutorials and the web interface was very easy. The handling of the robot was also very easy. The robot was also not to be broken, if he has ever moved into the table, because he has springs in his joints, which make him a sentient cobot. It is suitable for beginners. The display on which you can view various diagrams and counter readings is also a very good idea.
Con
Due to the springs, the accuracy was not quite as good as the competition. The traverse paths were also rather poor, as the robot wobbled a lot (the slower, the more wobbling). The background noise was also perceived negatively in a laboratory environment, but was drowned out by louder noises at the final installation. Simple functions like a heartbeat were partly missing, so you had to assemble them from the various programming blocks. This is possible, but very time-consuming and partly limited in scope. This was the case with several functions. The freedom of building blocks was partly limited. The product is suitable for a show case, but rather less so for industrial use.

Title
Sawyer is great for applications that are not necessarily of the precise kind. In my experience, Sawyer is easy to program, best suited for pick and place and ideal for small batch assembly solutions.
Pro
It can be hand guided and the path will be automatically saved for repetition tasks
Con
Not the best when it comes to placement and repeatability.
