Title
The aim was to explain to students how a serial manipulator work, and then let the students use it. The robot has fulfilled its duties, it is enough easy to use (thanks to Arduino) and it is also resistant. Some students tried to force it slightly in its movements. However, the robot resisted remaining apparently intact.
Pro
it is possible to use it with different types of Arduino, or with other microcontrollers that support Arduino sockets (such as the micro ST). However, it can also be programmed in Python and even with ROS (with which the trajectories can be tested first in simulation). Personally, I used it with the Arduino IDE because I'm more familiar with it, and preparing the setup wasn't so difficult. Once that's done you can immediately concentrate on getting the motors going.
Con
The cost is a bit high. It is not a product that can be used in industry but is more of an academic or educational product. And for that, I think it's a bit expensive. Manual calibration can be inaccurate. Regarding the documentation, in some parts I had to arrange it by myself, as it was written in Chinese. Probably someone with less experience than me would have given up.

Title
I use the arm in my assistant robot for the elderly.
Pro
Is very easy to program and to integrate with ROS1 and ROS2. This is the most important thing for me.
Con
I don't dislike it at all, overall the robot is very good in terms of quality and price.
