Title
We had it used this model in our lightweight assembly operation, for the Packaging application, where it was required to Pick up the part and place it on the conveyor.
Pro
Epson Robot is really good for its precise moves and fast speed movement of joints. We had it used in our application where we had a cycle time of 220ppm, which was really fast-paced. We were able to achieve our cycle time with the Epson robot, we had a 2.3kg of payload and a couple of air and vacuum hoses around. This tabletop mount option has done pretty good work, we did not have many places on the cell, we utilized the limit function and limited the joint's movement. We had an EPSON RC+ software for offline programming and all other configuration did not use teach pendant much. this software works great with all the Epson robot types, you can easily edit programs and transfer them to the controller. LEFT & RIGHT configuration is pretty simple, can decide what you want to use and define it right there with the move.
Con
Service Could be better, Takes too much time for repair or replacement!! However Remote support is good! Can just call Epson tech support and get the information you want! sometimes they need physical units for troubleshooting and repair which is a long process to ship them and get it back at your own expense!
