Enhancing Automotive Assembly with the FESTO Three-Point Gripper DHDS
Pro
I have been using the FESTO Three-point gripper DHDS in our automotive manufacturing plant. The gripper's design is super versatile which makes it perfect for grabbing all kinds of different objects, even if they're oddly shaped or sized. And with its three-point grip, we can be sure that we're handling everything safely and precisely. One thing that's really cool about this gripper is how easy it is to use. We can program it to pick up and move stuff with just a few clicks, and it's really accurate too. Plus, because of its stable grip, we don't have to worry about things slipping or falling, which saves us a ton of time and frustration. The FESTO Three-point gripper DHDS has made our jobs so much easier and faster. Highly recommend it to anyone in the manufacturing game!
Con
There are no significant downsides or negative aspects that stand out in the product's performance or usability.

Weiss Servo System
Title
We had it used in the pick and place of a small circular canister. We had it used as EOAT of the Weiss servo system.
Pro
Really basic and simple Design. Easy to mount in any tooling Stroke Position can be varied on the model we had it 32 model and proximity sensor for stroke position monitoring. Also has an option of analog position monitoring for stroke. Its T-slot gripper jaw is really suitable for center gripping and can be varied on external or internal gripping application, we had it external OD gripping application, where centering was the most important part for placing, we had it very complex and confined place location where it should grip properly for placing it, or else it would damage a part in our application. Flow Control is internally set so don't have to do much unless you need more or less gripping force.
Con
Stroke limits are not so great, because of the T-slot nothing you can much do there, but fingers can be externally replaced by custom built based on the application. And also with the different sizes, it is negotiable, so nothing to worry about it. Pressure drop maintenance could be handled better if it has some kind of functionality there, I could not find much information on this during integration, had to change a Code to mitigate the pressure drop events. Cleaning was much more complicated because of the t-slot, we had an application where it gets wet frequently and needed to clear the grippers to prevent static issue.
