The Robosuit® is a protective cover for the full range of UR arms. The UR3 Robosuit ® consist of 11 components: a base skirt, base skirt ring, base cover, lower arm, lower arm ring, upper arm ring, upper arm, upper arm, upper arm ring, wrist, and wrist ring. Components interlock/ join via either PVC rings or simple cuff-overlaps. Velcro seams are featured unless otherwise specified.

Each cover is custom-manufactured to your specific application and need and will protect your UR robot from extremes in temperature, sharp metal turnings, cutting fluids and coolants, and particulate (grit, dust, and debris).

Excellent general use material for basic protection form dust, dirt, and large grit
Not suited for use in wet applications as the material is breathable

18OZ Fire-retardant PVC Vinyl UR3 Robosuit ®:

Excellent general use material for most water-soluble coolants and cutting fluids, fine mesh, grits and powders, de-ionized water, and limited protection from pressurized water sprays/ mist
Very low level of chemical and abrasion resistance
Wide range of colour choices available
Available in both e-series and CB


17OZ Hypalon ® impregnated vinyl UR3 Robosuit ®:

Excellent material for use in high-abrasion environments as well as metal chips (de-burr/cutting)
Provides limited levels of protection from water spray/ mist while offering good levels of chemical resistance
Limited range of colour choices available
Available in both e-series and CB


Aluminum coated Kevlar ® UR3 Robosuit ®:

Excellent material for use in high and low heat environments, light sparks and for UV protection
Nominal insulating factor of R-0.7
Maximum radiant operating temperature of 1500F. Minimum operating temperature -65F
Sliver in colour

10-Mil laminated Teflon ® UR3 Robosuit ®:

Excellent protection in (caustic) chemical environments
FDA approved option, however, does not equate to the Robosuit ® being FDA-approved
Maximum radiant operating temperature of 650F

Excellent material for use in low-inertia weld splatter and heavy spark applications
