Title
I used Vworks on two systems in a Biotech lab automation setting. One system was basic prep station with a barcode labeler, plate filler, sealer and pealer. The second system was a large screening system with multiple stackers, Agilent Bravo liquid handler, plate reader and plate filler. The software was my first lab automation scheduling software and I found it easy to learn and use and very robust and reliable.
Pro
Very straightforward and easy to learn and use. Reliable with not too many quirks and bugs. I was able to integrate many different instruments. Worked well with precise arms.
Con
It was a little pricey initially. Driver costs for instruments can be very expensive. I am not sure if the software is being developed or improved any longer.
