Brooks Automation PF400 is a sample handling robot developed specifically for bench-top applications in life sciences and laboratory automation. It has a four-axis design and is equipped with a servo gripper for handling tubes and microtiter plates. It features a horizontal reach of 433mm (standard) and 588mm (extended), and is available with 400, 750 or 1,160mm vertical reach (Z-axis). The PF400 is easy to set up and program, with configuration and programming done from GuidanceMotion, an easy-to-use web interface, or from GPL, an advanced programming language. It can also be controlled by sending commands via its TCP interface.
