These electric parallel grippers have a spring closed feature that allows for full grip force during power off conditions. They require simple 24VDC pulsed signal, without programmable or expensive controller required. Adjustable inductive proximity sensors are also available. Easily integrated into current engineering and manufacturing processes. Their compact design allows for gripping small parts in small spaces. Preloaded “Dual-V” roller bearings eliminate sideplay for excellent part position repeatability. Low friction mechanism allows for repeatable gripping forces for holding delicate parts. Gripforce is constant throughout stroke. A corrosion resistant shield protects the drive and bearing mechanism. All internal components are lubricated with Krytox™grease. All moving components are located within the corrosion resistant cover.

This gripper series is designed for direct product contact in the food zone, according to the food industry standard. (EN 1672-2) All parts are corrosion resistant, non-toxic, non-contaminating, non-porous, non-absorbent and non-reactive. Its stainless steel design resists chemical cleaning procedures. The optional body conforms to FDA standards and is made of High Performance Polymer for a significantly lighter weight. Its electro-polished exterior with no recessed or inaccessible zones prevents retention of contaminants and simplifies cleaning. The sealed motion components (IP69K design) are made for high-pressure and high-temperature daily cleanings. Any metal/metal contact is protected by a gasket for leakproof assembly against bacteria. This angular gripper design offers easier radial sealing of jaws. The optional security springs help with external gripping, in case of air supply failure, in single acting or spring assist mode. There are no external fasteners to avoid any foreign matter in food. This gripper contains special lubricants suitable for food industry and a long maintenance-free service life.
