Title
We had an application where it was required to Pick&Place a small sub-assembly from the conveyor to another location. Because of the small footprint and the small size of the Scara Robot, we used it in our application.
Pro
Easy Installation is the biggest Important Part, we had it installed in a few hours!! It was really easy to program, Had used roboguide for offline programming. This Robot is really fast and precise with its J3 Strokes, Spindle has a really precise limit stroke. The break Release Button is really good on the top head, can easily press it and move the joints as Required. This robot is also available on the Roboguide interface which makes easy Configuration Of DCS and others. Can configure and limit the work zone in Joint limits. Effective and cost Efficient Scara Robot to use it in small Fast Paced manufacturing. Other options are also available based on Payload and reach limit.
Con
Left and Right Joint Configuration/Programming is a bit complex, Need to research and learn about it before using it. Battery Replacement requires, which could lead to mastering and calibration again. Again This could depend on the usage of the robot whether it's running 24/7 or not!!!
