Title
The HANWHA HCR 5 robot was implemented on a collaborative workstation working with the operator. It was not enclosed by any fixed guards - the operator's safety was ensured through the robot's virtual workspace and additionally through laser scanners. The process involved collecting a dozen flasks with a custom-designed gripper and loading them into a perfume filler feeder.
Pro
During resource planning for our project, the customer insisted on Universal Robots' UCR5 robot, however, at that time the UCR5 robot was not authorized to work in a clean environment. This prompted us to choose HANWHA's HCR 5 robot, and I can admit that it is a very strong competitor. One of its features is the ability to use hand guidance programming. It has excellent repeatability of movements, and it is pure pleasure to work with it.
Con
The most challenging issue was to persuade our customer to choose this particular brand, as it is not really recognizable among our market.
