The KUKA KMR iiwa integrates a sensitive LBR iiwa lightweight robot with a mobile platform, providing high flexibility and autonomous operation in dynamic environments. The KMR iiwa features Mecanum wheels that enable omnidirectional movement and 360-degree rotation, facilitating rapid and flexible navigation in tight spaces. Its seven joint torque sensors on the LBR iiwa ensure precise, safe interaction with its environment by stopping immediately upon contact, eliminating the need for protective barriers.
Equipped with KUKA.Navigation Solution and autonomous navigation capabilities, the KMR iiwa can independently maneuver around obstacles and optimize its routes. The system, powered by Li-ion batteries, maintains operational efficiency and accuracy, achieving a positioning precision of ±5 millimeters. The integration of KUKA Sunrise.OS and Sunrise controller simplifies operation, allowing users to easily manage and customize the robot’s tasks.
