One project was to test production. Labview and NI products provide an efficient developing cycle eco-system. The ideas, were basically flowing as it is a graphical language. The fact that its all graphical can make the code a mess. Spaghetti code can make debugging process prolonged

Title
I have used Laview in multiple applications for both academic and industrial use. For my bachelor thesis I used Labview to acquire and process the images from a GoPRO camera in order to develop an artificial vision system for mechatronic platform for histologic exames.Furthermore, I also used Labview environment to integrate virtual ECU model in a HIL testbench in testing applications in Automotive company

I have used LabVIEW for several year as the primary development tool for product test and measurement solutions. We applied it in automatic testing of products like inktjet printheads, syringes, VR headsets, airplane landing gears, … If you use LabVIEW for the correct purpose it is an excellent tool
Pro
You can build your HMI and code in a single file. So when the code is working, you automaticly have an HMI. Parallel programming is also easy by design. It is verry good to make fast test setups.
Con
It runs behind in real programming languages (e.g. object oriënted) and the developments of the platform itself are not verry innovative the last years. It is a little bit stuck in the past.
