Title
I had the opportunity to use OPT Smart3 Machine Vision Software for our automobile production line. We were looking for a way to streamline our inspection process and reduce the risk of defects making it through to the final product, and the Smart3 software seemed like a promising solution.
Pro
The software interface is very intuitive which makes it easy to set up and configure even complex inspection tasks. the software's ability to handle multiple cameras and sensors simultaneously is a big plus as it allows us to capture multiple views of a part and perform more detailed analysis. The software is highly customizable and allows us to tailor it to our specific needs and requirements. This flexibility means that we can use it for a wide range of applications across our production lines.
Con
To run the software effectively we needed to invest in high-quality cameras and lighting equipment, as well as powerful computer systems with advanced graphics processing capabilities. This can represent a significant investment for some manufacturing operations.
