Title
My application is pick and place. More detail is manchine tending about turnning center. The gripper pick the workpiece shaped a cylinder and place at the turnning center.
Pro
It is small and light. It is easy to connect the robot by using flange connector of robot .
Con
It has low payload. It has to need additional sensor to confirm grasp and release. It can't adjust stroke and clamping force.

Title
Implementing the tool on a robot to pick up surgical instruments. Used a vision system to locate the instrument. The instrument was picked up from a flat plate.
Pro
It is easy to implement this tool with the robot. Plenty of force, it's suitable for using long gripper fingers. Precise as expected from Schunk. Schunk also offers good support. Air easy to install from my memory.
Con
Looks very industrial, for demos I tend to go with different solutions.
