We have used the sick s300 mini safety scanner with UR Robot to enhance the safety of the system, the application case was carton erector using cobot. There is no need for extra fencing for safety of human , and the Cobot can able to perform faster speed ,With the help of safety scanner .

Multiple safety zones can be created , the robot can able to run in reduced speed mode and also the robot will go to protective stop if any obstacles or human entered the safety boundary.The software helps to map the safety boundaries for the robot.
