Title
Picking and loading/placing medium sized (440kgs) diesel engines (after powder coating process) into rigid stands within shipping crates.
Pro
Outstanding performance even in harsh conditions (powder-coating dusty environments and high temperatures) and also possesses good momentum braking attitude with absolute-zero swaying. Easy to program with the IRC5 "robust" controller.
Con
It would be nice to find flexible dust covers (socks) for protection and maintaining all moving parts and joints, clean. The counterweight springs start to make noise after a while, but we cannot be sure if they were replaced at some point (not mentioned in the service log) since we purchased used and not refurbished units. For sure, ABB is not to blame. We have never had any issues with their robots, before.
