Scanning range 12m

BANNER's EZ-SCREEN LS light curtains are a reliable and easy-to-use safety device designed for machine safeguarding in challenging manufacturing and packaging environments. With three resolutions available, ranging from 14 mm to 40 mm, and a range of up to 12 m, these light curtains provide end-to-end sensing with no blind zones. The aluminum housing and metal end caps protect each emitter and receiver against impacts, while highly visible alignment indicators and intuitive diagnostics make setup and troubleshooting a breeze.

The EZ-SCREEN LS system requires no PC software or DIP switches for quick and easy configuration. The dual scan technology ensures high immunity to EMI, RFI, ambient light, weld flash, and strobe light. The no blind zone design eliminates gaps in detection, while the system can cascade up to four systems of any length, resolution, and number of beams.

These light curtains are certified to Type 4 per IEC 61946, Category 4 PLe per EN ISO13849.1, and SIL3/SILCL3 per IEC 61508/IEC 62061, exceeding OSHA/ANSI control reliability requirements. The EZ-SCREEN LS pair model numbers come with an LS receiver, LS emitter, end-cap bracket kit, and center-mount bracket kit, making them a reliable choice for a range of manufacturing and packaging applications.

9
Fiessler Type 2 safety light curtain ILCT series
No reviews yet.

TLCT/ILCT safety light curtains each comprise two components:

Light transmitter and light receiver.

The clearance between these two components and the installation height determine the width and height of the protective field (Figure 5/1). Modular design permits realization of protective field heights ranging from 100 mm to 1500 mm in 100-mm steps.

The transmitter generates infrared light beams in rapid pulses. These parallel light beams are analyzed by two single-chip controllers in the transmitter.

The beam spacing determines the resolution. If an object enters the protective field, i.e. if at least one light beam is interrupted, the receiver's two outputs stop the machine or prevent it from starting, thus avoiding hazards.

In the restart with interlock operating mode, the machine can only be restarted by means of the start button once the protective field has been cleared again.
